Pink Grapefruit Margaritas

I absolutely love grapefruit, and I also really love margaritas...so when you put the two together, you have what I call a perfect drink.
I love how fresh this drink tastes-between the fresh lime juice and grapefruit juice, you have a delicious alternative to a regular margarita.  This margarita is not too sweet, which is how I like it, but if you want you can add some sugar or simple syrup to make it sweeter.

And yes, this picture is a little crooked-I guess that's what happens when you take a picture after drinking these ;-)

Pink Grapefruit Margaritas

1 cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (4 limes)
1 cup orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau
1 cup white tequila
Kosher salt, for rim (optional)
Lime wedges, for serving (optional)

If desired, rub a lime wedge around the edge of each glass and then dip the rim of each glass lightly in a plate of kosher salt. Set aside to dry.

Combine the grapefruit juice, lime juice, orange liqueur, and tequilla in a large pitcher and stir well. If youre not serving the margaritas in salted glasses, stir 1/4 teaspoon of salt into the pitcher of margaritas. If desired, stir in some sugar or simple syrup. Serve over ice.
