Pretzel Turtle Bites

These little bites of goodness are one of those things that seem to good to be true.  There are 3 ingredients, they take less than 5 minutes to make and they are a definite crowd pleaser.  Caramel, chocolate, pretzels and nuts? Yes please!  The saltiness from the pretzels is absolutely divine with the sweetness from the chocolate and caramel.

I made these and brought them to work and not only were they all gone and I had several requests for the recipe, I was also requested to make them again :-)

These are great to make for the holidays-especially when you are pressed for time!  Can you believe that we are already in Week 11 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop hosted by Brenda at Meal Planning Magic? That means Christmas is coming up real soon and you probably have lots of excuses reasons to make these little yummy bites!

Pretzel Turtle Bites
Mini Pretzels
Rolo candies, unwrapped
Pecan halves
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Place mini pretzels on a baking sheet lined with foil. Top each pretzel with one Rolo candy. Place in the oven for 2-3 minutes, until Rolo candies start to melt. Don't melt them all the way.
Remove from oven and lightly press a pecan half (or additional pretzel) on top of each Rolo.
Allow chocolate to cool and harden slightly.

  1. I'm always looking for something to take to our family Christmas a few hours away. This would be perfect.

  2. I still haven't made these yet - shame on me! They sound so easy yet delicious (and probably addicting, too).
